Intelligence and local information
Collecting data and intelligence allows us to measure the impact of our work.
By making comparisons across a range of data we can map improvements or changes in the health of our local populations. We can monitor differences across the region as a whole, or by specific communities, for example by CCG area as well as make comparisons with other areas in the country or with national statistics.
The Strategic Clinical Networks has a small team of experts who collate, manage and analyse published, national data from sources such HSCIC, Office of National Statistic, Public Health England and NHS England. They then localise it to make it relevant and useful for use by networks, advisory groups and others such as commissioners.
Below are links to specific data relating to the main clinical networks along with useful information about our local population.
