On 7th November 2016 the Clinical Networks hosted an event to support the development of Liaison Mental Health services across the North East and Cumbria.
Delegates represented a vast array of stakeholders including commissioners, liaison mental health teams, IAPT, health psychology, emergency department staff and acute physicians. We heard updates on the national and regional picture and spent the afternoon beginning to identify creative ways to work together to improve mental health services in the emergency department and beyond.
We are currently working through all of the information gathered during the workshop and will be sharing this, along with the data presented on the day, with localities. In the meantime, you can access the slides from the day below.
