The Public and Patient Voice within the Maternity and Child Health network aim to:
- ensure that public, patient and carer voice is at the heart of decision making â€“ provide a model through which professionals, organisations and service users collaborate across organisational boundaries to deliver programmes which result in improved health and wellbeing outcomes and improved quality of patient care.
- develop and strengthen the relationships between NESCN the Maternity and Children Third Sector and Voluntary organisations across Northern England.
- work in collaboration with people on their Maternity and Children work programmes.
To do this we will work with members of our Engagement Bank. This bank has many people who have experience of Patient, Public, Engagement and Involvement and whom have agreed we can call on to provide the voices of patient, public and carers throughout Northern England so they can be heard and acted upon.
